SHENZHEN, April 11th, 2023 — TotalEnergies Corbion, a global leader in production of Poly Lactic Acid (PLA), will be present at Chinaplas, 17-20 April 2023 in Shenzhen, China, showcasing its Luminy® PLA bioplastics portfolio - its innovation, contribution to circularity, and end of life solutions.
As a biopolymer, PLA is produced from sugar cane, and has a 75% lower carbon footprint than traditional plastics – learn more about the life cycle impact assessment of Polylactic Acid published in the Journal of Polymers and the Environment. PLA is also industrially compostable and recyclable.
