Proventec Plc (AIM:PROV, Alternext:ALTPC), the provider of specialist steam cleaning and coatings technologies, is pleased to announce the appointment of Guido Schoenmakers to the Board of the Company as Chief Operating Officer with immediate effect.

Guido Schoenmakers, aged 39, joined the Company in July 2005 as Managing Director of OspreyDeepclean and MAGMA Firestop in the Netherlands. Prior to this he was Senior Business Manager for IFN Finance, a subsidiary of ABN Amro, for five years. He was appointed a Director of InnoCleaningMagma Holdings BV when Proventec was formed in August 2005, following the reverse takeover of Flintstone Technologies plc. In March 2007, he was appointed Operations Director for Osprey and Magma with responsibility for their operations in the UK, Holland, France, Eastern Europe and the USA. He has also today been appointed as Managing Director of OspreyDeepclean Limited.
