Doray Minerals Limited (ASX:DRM, Doray) is pleased to announce that it has achieved another strong quarter of high-grade gold production at its 100% owned Andy Well Gold Project, in the northern Murchison region of Western Australia.
Production of 25,690 ounces for the September Quarter came from processing of 83,246 tonnes with an average head grade of 9.83g/t Au, beating the forecast production by 6.5%.
The Company advises that mining of the Wilber Lode Stage 2 and Suzie Lode open pits is continuing and that the pits are currently producing ore at a grade of over 16g/t Au. It is expected that the two open pits will over-reconcile against the original Mining Inventory.
The Company advises that surface and underground drilling is also continuing at Andy Well given the recent success of deep drilling on both the Wilber and Judy Lodes. The first underground drilling campaign testing the Suzie Lode will commence in upcoming weeks.
Further information on costs and production will be provided in the Quarterly Activities Report later in the month.
