Tokyo, Japan, January 27, 2015 --- The Teijin Group announced today that in an ongoing effort to further expand sales in the global sports market it will participate in ISPO Munich , the world biggest sportswear exhibition, at Messe München GmbH, from February 5 to 8.
Teijin’s booth (Hall: C2, Booth: No.100) will showcase technical materials and products offering exceptional comfort and solutions that help reduce consumption and thereby CO2 emissions due to the use of fossil resources.

The exhibit will include:
• DELTAPEAK® CR
This lightweight, thin, three-layer fabric made with water-repellent polyester fibers achieves excellent anti-perspiration comfort through enhanced absorption, quick drying and prevention of chills and stickiness.
• ECO STORM®
This lightweight, high-performance material, both waterproof and breathable, features recycled polyester laminated with a thin but highly durable polyester film. ECO STORM is ideal for eco-friendly outdoor clothing.
• DELTAPEAK®
Teijin Frontier’s next-generation fabric realizes a highly integrated combination of physicality, functionality and quality. It offers softness, durability, stretching, ultraviolet protection and anti-transparency, as well as snag resistance due to its dense, flat-knit surface.
• Odor-Control – Type EP
An innovative pH-balanced polyester material that does not irritate human skin, suppresses the growth of harmful bacteria by keeping the surface of clothing attached with sweat weakly acidic, and exhibits antibacterial properties.
• Bio-derived materials
SOLOTEX, a polytrimethylene terephthalate fiber, is highly soft, stretchable, shape-retaining and durable, and is also partially bio-derived. Other partially bio-derived products will also be exhibited.
• elk®
Teijin’s elk is a lightweight, durable, cushiony and breathable material that serves as an excellent substitute for polyurethane in a range of cushioning applications, such as mattresses. It is also environmentally friendly because it does not generate cyanogen gas when incinerated.
