Achmea Vitale will help clients manage absenteeism for 1 million employees
Sliedrecht, The Netherlands, 18 July 2011, UNIT4, the world’s leading provider of business software for Businesses Living IN Change (BLINC™), today announced a major five-year SaaS contract with Achmea Vitale BV, a subsidiary of one of the biggest insurance companies in the Netherlands. The contract includes a subscription for UNIT4’s Human Resource Management, which will allow Achmea Vitale to provide services for its customers to better manage employee absence and reform their absenteeism processes.
Achmea Vitale insures organizations against health-related absenteeism and will use UNIT4’s SaaS solution to provide clients with better insight into and control over staff absence. From September 2011 the SaaS solution will be rolled out to all Achmea Vitale clients, capturing data from up to one million employees in the Netherlands. Through a special portal, clients will be able to monitor absence trends and take appropriate actions
with the support of Achmea Vitale. The company expects to extend its use of UNIT4 software to replace its current back office systems, increasing the value of the deal to UNIT4.
Achmea Vitale selected the UNIT4 solution because of its flexibility to support reform around
absenteeism processes. The VerzuimSignaal solution has been named best absence
management solution in the Netherlands for three years running.
