De Bilt, 3 February 2015 - Grontmij N.V., a listed consulting & engineering company with a strong European presence, announces management changes in two of its operating countries. Grontmij and the Danish Country Managing Director (CMD) Søren Larsen have mutually agreed that Søren will step down as of 1 March 2015. John Chubb, currently CMD in the UK, will be appointed the new CMD of Grontmij Denmark. Jeff Davitt, currently CFO of Grontmij UK, will be appointed interim CMD of Grontmij UK.

As managing director of Grontmij UK since 2010 John Chubb (49) has been fundamental in leading the transformation of the UK business in the past five years from a loss-making operation with a strong dependence on the Water Asset Management Programme framework contracts, to a more diversified business with solid results.

Jeff Davitt (49) started his career at Grontmij UK in 2007 as financial controller and commercial manager for the water expertise area. Since becoming CFO and board member in 2011, he has focused on ensuring that Finance works in close partnership with the operating business and has contributed to implementation of the company strategy along with colleagues in the UK Leadership Team.
