Berlin, Germany – Royal Philips Electonics (AEX: PHI, NYSE: PHG) is unveiling a range of advanced consumer products that help people enjoy a healthier and better life in a simple way, this year at the Internationale Funk Ausstellung (IFA), taking place in Berlin from September 2-8. Whether it’s a new home cooking device that delivers the great taste of fried food with no oil*, a new range of headphones especially designed for an active lifestyle, or the launch of Europe’s greenest LED TV.

“At Philips, we develop advanced solutions that help contribute to people’s health and well-being,” Philips Consumer Lifestyle CEO Pieter Nota said. “The products we’re unveiling in Berlin today live up to that promise by helping people live a healthy, active and more sustainable life.”

The airfryer is a revolution in home cooking that uses little or no oil as it fries. airfryer uses patented Rapid Air technology to circulate hot air around a grill component, creating delicious meals with up to 80% less fat. Whether it’s perfect French fries, crispy chicken nuggets, delicately browned meat or golden pastries, food is cooked and crisped to perfection, all in just twelve minutes.
