New major contract for Getronics.
Getronics today announced a five-year contract for service desk and desktop services for Deutsche Bank employees primarily based in the US and UK. This expands on Getronics’ current three-year relationship with the bank providing services for Deutsche Bank’s remote users.

Getronics, operating under proven ITIL-based processes, was able to satisfy all of the bank’s requirements for stable, high-quality, cost-effective service delivery. Getronics has assets and infrastructure already in place in 30 countries and can deliver services in 60 more.

Kevin Roche, Getronics vice chairman of the Board of Management and executive vice president, Americas, says, “This expansion is a new major contract and continues to validate Getronics strategy and direction. Over a third of our business is in financial services, which brings an even broader depth of experience to our knowledge of Deutsche Bank’s specific environment and needs. Since our remote global infrastructure is already in place, it is an easy and natural step for us to expand the services we already provide“.

Transition of existing services will commence in July, with full service delivery starting in November 2005.
