Corus Group plc received notification on 30 September 2005 from Citigroup on
behalf of Standard Life Investments, in accordance with Part VI of the Companies
Act 1985 (as amended), that on 29 September 2005, Standard Life Investments
acquired 5,000,000 shares on behalf of Standard Life Group. This increased the
total held as a material interest to 181,264,954 shares being 4.079% of Corus
Group plc's issued capital.

On 30 September 2005, Corus Group plc received notification from Deutsche Bank
AG London that, in accordance with Section 198-202 of the UK Companies Act 1985,
Deutsche Bank AG and its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in
174,358,145 ordinary shares amounting to 3.92% of Corus Group plc's issued share capital.
Part of this holding may relate to hedging arrangements for customer
transactions.
