Corus Group plc received notification yesterday from Deutsche Bank AG London
that, in accordance with Section 198-202 of the UK Companies Act 1985, Deutsche
Bank AG and its subsidiary companies have a notifiable interest in 178,533,744
ordinary shares amounting to 4.02% of Corus Group plc's issued share capital.

Part of this holding may relate to hedging arrangements for customer
transactions.
