Guernsey, 4 April 2008 - Volta Finance Limited (the "Company" or
"Volta Finance") has published its semi-annual report and accounts 2008. The full report and the presentation of the semi-annual results are attached to this release and are available on Volta Finance
Limited's financial website (www.voltafinance.com).

Semi-Annual Report & Accounts Highlights:

- Net Asset Value ("NAV") of €217 million (€7.22 per share) at 31
January 2008.

- Net loss of the Company of €28.2m (€0.94 per share) following the
recognition of an impairment under IFRS accounting for five UK
non-conforming ABS and unrealised mark-to-market losses of assets
held for trading and derivative financial instruments such as the
TRS.

- Distribution Income of the Company negative at -€33m (-€1.10 per
share), reflecting the recognition of a reduction in expected cash
flows both from the TRS and on five UK non-conforming ABS assets.

- Considering the negative Distribution Income and the interests of
its shareholders, the Company has decided not to pay an interim
dividend for this semi-annual period. The cash generated by the
Company will be maintained within the Company in order to take
advantage of reinvestment opportunities which we hope will increase
our ability to pay dividends in the future.

- Considering current market conditions and the present level of
uncertainty, the Company does not believe that it can issue
meaningful dividend guidance for the next semi-annual period.
