Oyu Tolgoi organised the “Having a Crush on Your Profession” - Education fair on 24 October 2023 at the State Academic Theater of Opera and Ballet. This year marks the 10th anniversary of the (YDP) Youth Development Program initiated by Oyu Tolgoi company, which resembles a special occasion. As of October 2023, a total of 1,457 students have participated in the Youth Development Program.

Around 2,000 students from high school and university participated in the Education fair and received career counseling and introductions to Oyu Tolgoi’s educational programs and opportunities.

With the vision of ‘Natural wealth to enduring value, knowledge, and skill’, Oyu Tolgoi implements a wide range of programs aimed at developing youth, the future of Mongolia. Some of the above programs include:

1,457 Youth Development Program participants,
45 International scholarship awardees,
411 Domestic scholarship awardees,
610 Student Internship Program alumni,
230 New graduate program cohort.
We enrolled 46 students from Ulaanbaatar and 42 from Umnugobi province to the YDP, 33 student interns, and 20 new graduates, and granted 35 domestic scholarships in the 2023-2024 academic year. Parents and family members proudly presented scholarship certificates to the students chosen for the Domestic Scholarship Program and the Youth Development Program. This heartfelt moment deeply moved both the guests and participants at the event.
