Corbion introduces its PATIONIC® polymer additives to the Middle East market at Arabplast 2017, where it will focus on expandable polystyrene (EPS) applications. If left untreated, expandable polystyrene beads can acquire static charges, leading to flowability problems and inhomogeneous mold filling. PATIONIC glycerol esters improve the processability of expandable polystyrene beads and are particularly well-suited to low density EPS products, due to the consistent distribution and very small size of the additive particles.

Acting as anti-static agent, PATIONIC 909 reduces agglomeration of expandable polystyrene beads, so that the screening process into various bead sizes is not hampered. In addition, PATIONIC 909 also contributes to uniform mold filling.

Corbion's synthesis chemists and applications engineers work closely with expandable polystyrene producers to identify additional ways in which its high quality polymer additives can act as processing aids, saving time throughout the foaming process. For example, PATIONIC 909 and PATIONIC 919 help to facilitate cooling, making it quicker and easier to release the final block of expandable polystyrene from the mold.

Glycerol esters are chemical combinations of glycerine and fatty acids and occur naturally as glycerol triesters. Corbion manufactures monoesters, triesters, and mixtures of mono/diesters with various degrees of saturation, to deliver optimum performance depending on the application.

Products in Corbion's full PATIONIC portfolio are used as antistats, lubricants, acid/catalyst neutralizers, dispersants, mold release agents, processing aids and anti-fog agents and improve the processability of polymers in the polypropylene, polyethylene, PVC and engineering thermoplastics industries. With a variety of different product forms available, Corbion can provide bespoke solutions to meet the unique needs of its customers.

Wel opvallend dat aan beide kanten steeds afwisselende drempels liggen. In het verleden waren dat dezelfde aantallen aan beide kanten in het boekje. Dat was te opvallend en wij wezen daar ook steeds op. Ze hebben hun lesje geleerd.
Maar er zijn bij dit fonds nog meer patronen (vaste) te zien.

Als je het *vaste(drempel) aantal aan de koop kant weghaalt dan zit er weinig verschil qua aantal tussen de koop en verkoop. Veel dezelfde aantallen. Wij letten veel meer op patronen dan op 't bedrijfsnieuws. Dit laatste heeft veel minder gevolgen voor de prijsvorming. Systemen bepalen voor 95% bij dit fonds de dagelijks prijs. Triest maar waar. Corbion is niet de enige waar dit gebeurd, wij hebben een hele lijst(lange).
