ARCADIS appointed go-to firm for UK brownfield sites by Environment Agency

ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), the leading pure play global engineering and consultancy firm, today announced that it has become a partner on the National Contaminated Land Consultancy Framework of the Environment Agency in England and Wales which is anticipated to run for a period of 4 years. With this, ARCADIS | EC Harris has effectively been appointed as a go-to advisor for brownfield sites across the UK.

Under the framework, ARCADIS | EC Harris will provide consultancy services for contaminated land investigation, risk evaluation, remedial appraisal, design and validation, and related activities commonly commissioned by regulatory bodies in the UK. ARCADIS is one of six firms selected by the Environment Agency under this framework agreement.

This appointment represents a significant UK synergy win, building upon the existing National Cost Management Framework that ARCADIS EC Harris has been supporting the Environment Agency with, for the delivery of its Flood Risk Management Capital Programme.
