Royal Wessanen nv announces that on December 31, 2007, upon the expiration of his statutory four-year contract, Niels R. Onkenhout, currently Member of the Executive Board and President of the European operations, shall leave the company to pursue other interests.
Ad Veenhof, President and CEO of Wessanen, will take up the responsibility for the European operations with a key focus on the Branded and Distribution activities in the Health food segment. Mr. Fred Alkemade, Executive Vice President Strategy and Business Development, will take responsibility for the other European activities in frozen and Premium Taste.

With the departure of Niels Onkenhout, Wessanen’s Executive Board will continue with three members: Ad H. Veenhof, CEO of Royal Wessanen and President of the European operations, Han Wagter, CFO and K. Richard Lane, Executive Board Member and President of the North American operations.
