Mexico City, Mexico, June 12, 2012 – América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. (BMV: AMX; NYSE: AMX; Nasdaq: AMOV; LATIBEX: XAMXL) and AMOV Europa B.V. announce that today AMX entered into three separate transactions outside regular market trading within the meaning of Section 13 paragraph 1 of the Takeover Decree, pursuant to which it purchased an aggregate number of 8,000,000 ordinary shares in Koninklijke KPN N.V. ("KPN"). One transaction related to 1,700,000 ordinary shares in KPN at a price in cash of EUR 7.80 per ordinary share, one transaction related to 5,800,000 ordinary shares in KPN at a price in cash of EUR 7.85 per ordinary share and one transaction related to 500,000 ordinary shares in KPN at a price in cash of EUR 7.85 per ordinary share. As a result of these transactions and other transactions entered into prior to these transactions, AMX will hold 112,532,225 ordinary shares in KPN, representing a capital interest of 7.86% in KPN.
