The shares were repurchased at an average price of €17.31 per share for a total consideration of €27.3 million. These repurchases were made as part of the €1 billion share buyback program announced on December 7, 2016. Het is echt abnormaal, dat de rente, al jarenlang, nog nooit zo laag is geweest als in 5,000 jaar. Via de rentestand, bepalen Centrale Banken de kredietgroei. Een van de fundamentele economische wetten is nu eenmaal, dat wat goedkoper wordt, veel aantrekkelijker wordt. Geen wonder, dat er bij elke rentedaling, olie op het schuldenvuur werd gegooid, waardoor de totale schuld, als percentage van de economie, nu de hoogste stand in de wereldgeschiedenis heeft bereikt. De kredietgroei rees de pan uit! Met als gevolg een ononderbroken gefinancierde waardestijging van activa, die net lijkt op een wonderbaarlijke periode van hoogconjunctuur. Je lijkt bijna op een uilskuiken, als je die boot van bijna gratis krediet mist, nietwaar? NEURENBERG (AFN) - Het aantal werklozen in Duitsland is in juli j.l. gedaald. Dat blijkt uit cijfers die het Duitse federale arbeidsbureau publiceerde. Het aantal werklozen zakte met 9000 naar iets meer dan 2,53 miljoen in vergelijking met een maand eerder. Zowel in het westen als in het oosten van het land was sprake van een afname van het aantal mensen zonder baan. De cijfers zijn aangepast voor seizoen effecten. Het werkloosheidspercentage in Duitsland bleef ongewijzigd op het historisch lage niveau van 5,7 procent.
