October 11, 2012 - ARCADIS (EURONEXT: ARCAD), a leading international consultancy, design, engineering and management services company, today announced that its Asian subsidiary Langdon & Seah (L&S) have been appointed as full-service Quantity Surveying Consultant for the first phase of the M+ at the West Kowloon Cultural District in Hong Kong. Further financial details were not disclosed.

M+ is a Museum of Visual Culture, and will open with about 60,000 sqm overall floor area, of which approximately 20,000 sq.m. will be exhibition space. Additional space and facilities are planned to be added in later phases. The West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD), which is located on a 40-hectare prime waterfront site overlooking the magnificent Victoria Harbour, will be developed into an integrated arts and cultural district with world-class facilities, distinguished talents, iconic architecture and quality programmes with a must-visit appeal to locals and tourists.

Joseph Lee, CEO of Langdon & Seah said: "We are very proud to be able to deliver a contribution to the development of such an iconic project on a prime location. For this project we have combined our experience in quantity surveying with the extensive knowledge of ARCADIS and RTKL in cultural facility project experience.
