Maarten Obbink, Managing Director of tea trading Van Rees Group will leave the company after a career of in total 14 years. Since 2014 he has held the position of Managing Director.

Maarten Obbink will formally hand-over his duties and responsibilities by the end of July to CFO Paul Ruigendijk who has been closely involved in all aspects of the day-to-day business since 2013. Until a successor will be appointed, he will take over the daily management of the company as Managing Director ad interim. On his turn, he will be supported by a newly formed management team consisting of Nelleke Hollanders (HR) and a commercial team of four senior and experienced Managing Directors of the company’s overseas offices.
