Result of EGM
Proventec Plc (AIM:PROV), a provider of specialist steam cleaning and coatings technologies, confirms that all the resolutions put to Shareholders at the Company's Extraordinary General Meeting ('EGM') held today were duly passed. As a result, the Company is pleased to announce that trading of its Ordinary Shares will commence on Alternext, a market operated by Euronext Paris SA, on Thursday 22 May 2008. The Company will be dual listed on Alternext and AIM and its shares will be fully fungible.

David Chestnutt, Chief Executive Officer of Proventec, said: 'Our operations have been expanding quickly into Europe and joining Alternext is therefore a natural progression that allows investors there to take part in our growth. Joining this market will give us access to a breadth of potential new investors and should improve the overall liquidity of trading in our stock. I would like to thank our existing Shareholders who have recognised the opportunities that lay ahead for Proventec.'

Alternext: was launched on 17 May 2005 as a market for small and midsized companies. It was created by Euronext to provide simplified access to European equity markets for such companies.

Following Shareholder approval at today's EGM, the Company's Ordinary Shares have been consolidated into New Ordinary Shares on the basis of one New Ordinary Share for every 20 existing Ordinary Shares. Trading in the New Ordinary Shares will commence
on AIM on 13 May 2008.

Following the consolidation, the Company's issued Ordinary Share capital will comprise of 12,170,243 New Ordinary Shares of nominal value of £1 each. The rights attached to the New Ordinary Shares, including voting and dividend rights, will be the same as the rights attached to the Ordinary Shares (subject to the terms of the New Articles of Association). There are no Shares held in Treasury.
