Galiano Gold Announces Annual General and Special Meeting Voting Results

VANCOUVER, April 30, 2020 /CNW/ - Galiano Gold Inc. ("Galiano" or the "Company") (TSX, NYSE American: AKG) (formerly Asanko Gold Inc.) announced that all the resolutions put to shareholders at the Company's Annual General and Special Meeting (the "Meeting") held on April 30, 2020 were duly passed. The results for each of the matters voted upon at the Meeting are set out below:

Number of Directors

The number of directors of the Company was set at seven (7), with 150,776,256 votes FOR and 204,146 votes AGAINST.

Election of Directors

The seven nominees listed in the Company's Management Information Circular dated March 17, 2020, were elected at the Meeting as directors of Galiano.
