RAYONG, Thailand, 12th January 2023 – Recently, TotalEnergies Corbion’s performance was formally recognized by various ministries of the Thai Government and Ecovadis, for its production safety, environmental, and social corporate responsibility. At TotalEnergies Corbion, we have the motto: Do the right thing, think safety first. The implementation of both TotalEnergies Golden Rules and Corbion Safety Rules over the years, has led to zero accidents, as well as outstanding safety, health, and environmental performance.

The Ministry of Labor of Thailand, through the Thai Institute of Occupational Safety and Health, and its Welfare and Labor Protection department, promotes safety and environmental performance by awarding companies for consecutive years of performance excellence. In 2022, TotalEnergies Corbion was awarded for outstanding achievement in occupational safety health and working environment.

The Ministry of Industry of Thailand, recognizing the significance of environmental impact management, awards companies that adhere to the 3Rs program: reduce, reuse, and recycle. In this category, TotalEnergies Corbion was nominated for significantly lowering the quantity of PLA lump removal, created by the PLA production process, through reprocessing and returning PLA lumps to the manufacturing process.

Furthermore, TotalEnergies Corbion received the “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award” by the Ministry of Industry of Thailand, Department of Industrial Works, as a company that meets the standards and guidelines of the Department of Industrial Works in addition to the International CSR standard ISO26000.

For the third year in a row, TotalEnergies Corbion has received EcoVadis’s top ratings to drive global supply chain sustainability. EcoVadis provides holistic sustainability ratings service of companies, covering four areas: environment, labor & human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement.

AYONG, Thailand, 12 januari 2023 – Onlangs werden de prestaties van TotalEnergies Corbion formeel erkend door verschillende ministeries van de Thaise regering en Ecovadis vanwege de veiligheid van de productie, het milieu en de maatschappelijke verantwoordelijkheid van het bedrijf. Het Ministerie van Arbeid van Thailand bevordert via het Thai Institute of Occupational Safety and Health en zijn afdeling Welfare and Labour Protection de veiligheids- en milieuprestaties door bedrijven te belonen voor opeenvolgende jaren van uitmuntende prestaties. In 2022 werd TotalEnergies Corbion bekroond voor uitstekende prestaties op het gebied van veiligheid op het werk, gezondheid en werkomgeving.

Het Ministerie van Industrie van Thailand erkent het belang van milieu-impactbeheer en beloont bedrijven die zich houden aan het 3V-programma: verminderen, hergebruiken en recyclen. In deze categorie werd TotalEnergies Corbion genomineerd voor het aanzienlijk verminderen van de hoeveelheid verwijderde PLA-klonten die ontstaan tijdens het PLA-productieproces, door PLA-klonten opnieuw te verwerken en terug te brengen naar het productieproces.

Bovendien ontving TotalEnergies Corbion de “Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Award” van het Ministerie van Industrie van Thailand, Department of Industrial Works, als een bedrijf dat naast de internationale MVO-norm ook voldoet aan de normen en richtlijnen van het Department of Industrial Works. Voor het derde jaar op rij heeft TotalEnergies Corbion de beste beoordelingen van EcoVadis ontvangen voor het stimuleren van de wereldwijde duurzaamheid van de toeleveringsketen. EcoVadis biedt holistische duurzaamheidsbeoordelingen van bedrijven op vier gebieden: milieu, arbeids- en mensenrechten, ethiek en duurzaam inkopen.
