BLUE MOON RECEIVES APPROVAL OF DRILL PERMIT EXTENSION TO ADVANCE ZINC-SILVER PROJECT

December 23, 2020 – Blue Moon Zinc Corp. (TSXV: MOON; US OTC: BMOOF) (the “Company”) announces it has received a 30 month extension for its drill permits for the further exploration and development of its advanced Blue Moon Zinc-Silver deposit in California. The drill permit is now valid through June 26, 2023 at which time it can apply for further drill permits.
"The extension of the drill permit continues to demonstrate the support for the development of the Blue Moon project.,” stated Patrick McGrath, Chief Executive Officer of Blue Moon Zinc. “Our next drill program will target deposit expansion opportunities as well as several high impact exploration targets where indicators point to the possibility of parallel lenses.”

Blue Moon (TSX.V: MOON; OTC: BMOOF) is currently advancing its 100% owned Blue Moon polymetallic deposit in California which contains zinc, gold, silver and copper. The deposit is open at depth and along strike. The Blue Moon 43-101 Mineral Resource includes 7.8 million inferred tons at 8.07% zinc equivalent (4.95% zinc, 0.04 oz/t gold, 0.46% copper, 1.33 oz/t silver), containing 771 million pounds of zinc, 300,000 ounces of gold, 71 million pounds of copper, and 10 million ounces of silver.
