Corbion will be showcasing PURAC® Sanilac, a powerful, non-toxic disinfecting alternative to traditional biocides, at SEPAWA 2017. This comes following recent research underlining the importance of environmentally friendly cleaning product solutions for consumers worldwide.

The research shows that 48% of global consumers are looking for disinfecting products, while 37% believe that cleaning products should be both environmentally friendly and contain no harsh chemicals. The report also highlights organic and all-natural ingredients as a key purchasing driver for 26% of respondents.

Overall, the consumer survey underpins the growing awareness of the potential environmental damage caused by cleaning products, while highlighting that individuals are not willing to compromise on efficacy.

Today's consumers are interested in cleaning solutions that make a difference to everyday wellbeing and the wider planet. To meet these growing needs, Corbion is showcasing the sanitizing strength of PURAC® Sanilac, which aims to make a positive impact on tomorrow's generation.

PURAC® Sanilac is a safe, powerful disinfecting alternative to traditional biocides, that is non-toxic to humans and the environment. It has both an antibacterial and antiviral function, as well as being bio-based and readily biodegradable, EPA-registered in the US and BPR-notified in the EU.

Lactic acid is growing in popularity as an active ingredient in homecare and personal care products, thanks to its ability to replace traditional chemicals and solvents while delivering improved safety.
