ING Group announced today it will redeem USD 800 million 7.05% ING Perpetual Debt Securities on the call date of 15 September 2016, in line with ING's goal to continuously optimize its capital structure.

The securities (CUSIP: 456837202) will be redeemed in full on the redemption date which is 15 September 2016. The redemption price payable for the securities on the redemption date will equal 100% of the aggregate principal amount of the securities, plus accrued and unpaid interest to and including the redemption date.
