26 September 2016 – TomTom (TOM2) today announced that its partner PEUGEOT has enhanced its new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® experience with its user-friendly navigation, 3D* Maps and TomTom Traffic. The new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® features a multimedia system with a 8-inch touchscreen as well as a head-up instrument panel with a 12-inch display screen, proving the scalability of TomTom components, which work smoothly and seamlessly over both screens.
The first car model to introduce the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® with the TomTom navigation components will be the new PEUGEOT 3008, launching at the Paris Motor Show and on display at the PEUGEOT stand. Further vehicles will follow in the roll out of the new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® concept.

“TomTom is proud to be part of the compelling new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit®,” says Antoine Saucier, Managing Director TomTom Automotive. “This partnership is a further proof point that TomTom’s NavKit off-the-shelf, easy-to-integrate navigation engine enables car manufacturers to develop customised systems that meet the expectations of consumers today and tomorrow”.

The new PEUGEOT i-Cockpit® empowers the driver with information to make smart choices. The 8-inch capacitive touchscreen benefits from the latest TomTom NavKit technology, with the possibility of transferring navigation and direction indications directly onto the head-up screen. 3D buildings and landmarks* are magnified by the 12-inch instrument panel behind the steering wheel. The system supports voice recognition, and features the latest TomTom Traffic service.

TomTom’s complete automotive product offering will be showcased at the TomTom booth in Hall 3, Booth 104.
